The Practise is a platform for personal, collective and planetary wellbeing. With this in mind, we are on a path to create: ❦ A new kind of space that investigates alternative wellbeing modalities and provides critical reflection, rooted in contemporary culture. ❦ A community of forward-thinking individuals, curious to experience what wellbeing of the future looks like, firsthand. ❦ A modern herbalist and a test kitchen, relentlessly developing and uncovering new recipes as well as tapping into the ancient wisdom of natural remedies across the globe. We are for prevention and self-care, not sick-care. We believe in daily practices, plant medicines and mindful design which contribute to conscious and healthy lifestyles.
Personal Wellbeing
To feel well in the world we should feel good in our own body. Personal wellbeing encompasses mind, body and spirit. Nurturing these areas of ourselves is a lifelong journey that we hope to assist you in.
Collective Wellbeing
Loneliness is another pandemic that we are facing today. Through our events and activities we aim to foster new connections and nurture existing ones, providing a safe and brave space for discovery, exploration and connection.
Planetary Wellbeing
Our daily actions and choices impact the planet in more ways than we dare to notice. How can we do better and how can we live more consciously are the questions we are tackling through our daily choices.

About us
Uniting over a shared passion for wellbeing, design and new experiences; Alexandra Schott, Merel van Gool and Victoria Meniakina saw a gap for something missing in their world.
Forming the The Practise in 2020; from a sunny canal-side studio in Amsterdam their multicultural backgrounds have merged together to bring inspiration from American, Dutch and European cultures; truly exploring what modern practises look like first hand.
Currently embarking into this new uncharted territory they use their combined knowledge ranging from gardening to luxury and hospitality, from plant wisdom to design and architecture to give a platform to those who are positively contributing to our planet.
